Tenure requirements are set out in the School Regulations. They are summarised below.

• Follow the teachings given in the School and the corresponding degree programs at the University of Udine.
• Take an interview that takes place in the middle of the academic year.
• Pass the exams related to the supplementary teaching activities held at the School by October 31 of each year.
• Pass the university examinations stipulated in one's study plan by the fall term, but no later than October 31.
• Report in exams and other forms of verification for the acquisition of educational credits, for each year, an overall average of not less than 27/30 and in each exam a grade of not less than 24/30. Also contributing to the formation of the overall average are grades related to internal courses conducted at the School.
• Comply with the residency requirement at the School from Monday to Friday throughout the period of academic activity.
